Cruise

A few weeks ago, John and I decided at the last minute (a week in advance) to go on a cruise. It was about time--John claims it is the first vacation we've ever been on (when we were trying to decide whether to go, the big item on the "pro" side was that John could then stop complaining about us never having been on a "real" vacation). I figure the cruise just made up for our lack of celebrating our five year anniversary (or was it our tenth?). It was a five night cruise and we visited Progresso (where we saw the amazing ruins of Chichen Itza) and Cozumel, Mexico. Unfortunately, the next to the last day, I accidentally deleted all of our pictures--so we have no proof that we were actually there (hmmm . . . might have to go again). My favorite part was holding hands while snorkeling off the coast of Cozumel. John's favorite part was that someone else planned things for us that we could go to or not (usually not). I actually think his favorite was Blackjack. But who am I to complain when his winnings paid for our souvenirs.

I don't think I ever got to hear about all the goings-on of the cruise. Just that you came home and were sick. Too bad all the pictures were deleted. This is a cute one of you smooching though. I'm glad you got to go and that Mom could come watch Brooklynn.

How fun!! I think cruises are about the best vacation around. It's so easy! All of your food, outings, accommodations, activities are all taken care of for you. I hope you had a fabulous time.

Everyone is cruisin' these days! Looks fun...something I've never experienced! Fun to see the updated pics of Brooklynn. What a darling little lion she made for Halloween. I saw some pics at Grandma B's the other day! What a precious little girl!
