The Olympics--Dobbs' Style

The majority of us in the Dobbs' household were mere observers in the Olympics. We (particularly I) loved every minute of it and can't wait for the winter games in 2010!
Brooklynn, however, has started training in earnest to be a participant in future games. (Out of respect for the ancient Olympians, she practices her sports with as few clothes as possible.)
The trampoline
Hurdles (or high jump--at this stage they are pretty similar)
Gymnastics (this is our pull up bar)
Swimming
More gymnastics

Synchronized bell ringing (okay, I just thought it was a cute picture)

There were a couple exhibition events that will NOT be a part of our Olympics in the future--like the 10 lb baby lift and the freestyle stair tumble.

Ok... you totally had me laughing during this post - First with the picture of Ian and then with "Brooklynn's tribute to Ancient Olympics!". That girl is pretty awesome! Maybe you have the next gold medalist right before you very eyes!!!

OK, so how cute is that! You've got yourself a future Olympian, for sure. I'm gonna bet on GOLD all the way for Trampoline! Go get 'em, Brooklynn!

I read all your posts! I'm laughing at your list of TV shows. You must be up through the wee hours of the night watching them on tivo. By the way, I use Sears Portrait Studio for all my pictures. I schedule with the same gal that miraculously gets the shots of Isaac...even on a grouchy day. I usually buy the cheapest pkg. and get the CD and print the rest at Costco. I think it all depends on the photographer. I'm lucky to have found her.

Love the naked tramp pictures . . . I didn't even know you had a tramp. The things I don't know about my Texan sister.
Anyway, Brooklyn looks super cute in her gymnastic leotard. Abby and Emma would love playing dress-up with her.

She's a strong little peanut! So glad you have her in gymnastics! Maybe we'll see her in the 2020 olympics! I can't wait!

Hope Aunt Jo doesn't see that Greco-style "tramp"-o-lene act! You'd better keep that one for the meanie-teenie years. Might come in handy. -Phil
