Crash!

Apparently, Ian became an expert crawler sooner than I expected. The bruises below are from his first tumble down a full flight of stairs and onto the tile. I was changing Brooklynn's diaper and feel horrible that he fell when he came looking for me. Luckily, it didn't require more than a call to the doctor and a close eye on him for the next 24 hours. We're glad that his first tooth (which had appeared a few days previously) wasn't damaged.
I'm so sorry, Ian!

Oh, poor Ian! So many bruises on his cute little face. I'm glad he's ok :-)!

Yep. Still handsome. (We just installed new baby gates at the top AND bottom of our stairs on Saturday- Ally's had some seriously close calls.) So come over and play - we are crawler safe now.

How did I miss this post? Poor baby . . . yo told me about the crash. But not the new tooth. Congrats Ian! Hope you're doing better bud!

They are seriously sooooo cute...bruises and all! Jason took a fall down the stairs at Ian's age and broke his collar bone! Not fun for a baby (not fun for anyone!)! Good luck with the teething!

I STILL have my gate up! It scares me to take it down, but I should probably do it one of these days. Isaac's 2! It's handy when little cousin-crawlers, like Angie's little one-year-old comes to play. Those things happen, though. Glad he didn't break any bones! Is it just me or does Ian seriously look a lot like Sarah's boys?

I thought of you and Ian's #1 last week. Was he born on the 4th of June? Reese, Mark's little girl, was on the 3rd and I think Ian was the next day...maybe? The passing of Grandpa B was on the 5th. I'm still in shock and disbelief about Brad. The funeral was beautiful. I'm sure your family told you all about it. Love you guys!
